Avon Gorge Hotel wedding

Avon Gorge Hotel wedding. It’s becoming quite a tradition for me; meeting future couples while photographing a wedding. I first met Emma and Chris at the wedding of their close friends Laura and Shaun, the year before at Bristol Zoo.

The weather on the day was exceptional and we were able to make the most of the iconic Clifton Suspension Bridge. I love how it looks at night; the perfect setting for a city centre wedding. But the happy couple weren’t the only ones with a fabulous backdrop! Emma and Chris asked me to set up a photo-booth for guests to use throughout the evening reception and we were able to get some hilarious shots of their nearest and dearest.

The couple married at the Avon Gorge Hotel which is a stones throw from the bridge – and the rest of the day was just as ‘home-grown’ with fantastic suppliers from across the city. The flowers were created by local florist Lisa Elliot.
