Bridwell Park Wedding Photographer

As a first time Bridwell Park wedding photographer, Hannah and Mike’s ‘I’ll love you till the end’ wedding was a wonderful experience for me. Being a wedding stylist herself, the bride, Hannah, did a great job in planning and executing a beautiful ceremony in the Bridwell’s Park.

The exclusive country house venue is Bridwell Park, Devon, home to lord Ivar Mountbatten. Bridwell Park is a stunning classy venue in Devon. This gorgeous Georgian house is surrounded by beautiful parkland offering a perfect location and flexible, easily accessed private facilities. Its wonderful style and ambience gives it a relaxed feel that appeals to couples.

Hannah wore a Catherine Deane dress and made her own headpiece, shawl and bouquet. Her hair and make-up were done by Billie Edge while the cake was by Daisy Molly and Me. The Black Friday was the band who serenaded us with lovely music. These are all great wedding suppliers selected by the bride based on their past work and now personal relationships. In the last two years we did lots of photo shoots together in the best wedding venues in Devon, including: Huntsham court, Rockbeare Manor and famous The Game of Thrones shoot at The Deer Park Hotel.

The ceremony and evening party was held in Bridwell’s private Gothic chapel with about 46 close family and friends present. Drinks reception and family prepared feast was enjoyed within the main house. This was followed by excellent speeches and even better dancing. Somewhere in between all this excitement we found time for some quiet portraits, taking advantage of this very nice location.

Devon reserved some fantastic weather for Hannah and Mike’s wedding, encouraging one of those relaxed type of days that are so much fun to photograph. The wedding focused on Hannah and Mike’s love for each other, woodlands, textiles, crafts, folk music and enchanting settings and I made sure to capture all on camera. I’m pleased to say that their lovely wedding was featured on The Wedding Community and The English Wedding blog.
