Bristol Mansion House wedding
Bristol Mansion House wedding at it’s best, Victoria and Andy held their lovely wedding here in July. The Clifton Cathedral and The Mansion House made the perfect backdrop for their luxurious wedding day.
The couple came recommended by The Mansion House, a vendor I have worked with before. As the couple live in Clifton they decided to have a ceremony and reception in Clifton, they also used mostly local suppliers.
I started the day with bride at Bristol Marriott, for some gorgeous bridal portraits. It got very emotional when Victoria’s dad saw her in the dress for the first time. His genuinely amazing reaction seeing his little girl as a bride brought tears to all of the ladies eyes. Vicki then spent adorable moments with her girls and it was off to the ceremony.
The day was full of memorable and sweet, magical moments. Travelling by car to The Clifton Cathedral for the service, people on the street were waving and cheering to Vicki and her dad which was very cute. Vicki also looked exquisite as she walked down the aisle in her gorgeous dress by Clifton Brides. Full of sparkling detail, she really shined! The ceremony was one beautifully traditional English ceremony, where the couple sealed their love with a sweet kiss.
On the way to the reception, we stopped for some photos at The Clifton Suspension Bridge which is nearby the reception venue – The Mansion House. Guests were greeted with a lovely drinks reception while we took a few lovely bridal portraits with their antique 1930’s Style White Beauford courtesy of Spirit Wedding Cars.
During the drink reception, guests were entertained with games of lawn Jenga – a fun addition to their lush garden affair. Decorated with gorgeous flowers from Clifton Flowers, the reception table names were a mixture of Spanish and French words as Vicki is a French and Spanish teacher.
After the first dance, the dance floor was always full thanks to Alan from Soundwave Entertainments. Of course, nothing quite topped the cake cutting thanks to Anna Cake Couture or the amazing food by in house caterer Parsnip Mash.
A glorious day to remember, I would like to congratulate Victoria and Andy on one fabulous wedding to remember. Thank you for asking me to be your Bristol wedding photographer.
