Kings Weston House wedding photographer

Hollie and Jimmy, a totally sweet couple, had their dream Bristol wedding at the historic Kings Weston House in the presence of their excited family and friends. The joy in the air was palpable and I was able to capture the positive vibes on camera.

As a regular Kings Weston House wedding photographer, I love to photograph at the KWH because of its beautiful décor and how spacious it is. Built many centuries ago, the Kings Weston house boasts of a plethora of 18th-century features, including magnificent ceilings, marble fireplaces, and a stunning suspended central staircase. It is elegant and characterful, yet retains the charm of a lived-in and loved family home.

On the big day, the bride and her seven bridesmaids got ready in a spacious bridal room at Kings Weston House. Hollie’s hair and Make-Up were done by the talented Emma Dawson. Her gorgeous dress was by Bride at Home. I also had a chance to capture groom with his two best men before the ceremony.

The ceremony was held in the Great Hall while the wedding breakfast took place in the stunning Vanbrugh room. After the ceremony, we all went outside where the drinks reception and group pictures took place, thanks to the lovely weather coupled with the lovely surrounding which created a romantic ambience. This provided the perfect setting for the guests to enjoy their drinks reception while I clicked away.

After the speeches and after the cake was cut, we had some time for evening pics. The guests also hung out in the Portrait gallery where the couple had set up DIY photo booth and obviously at the bar. We finished the Kings Weston wedding photography with some awesome night time shots.

Many thanks to Elizabeth weddings that did the styling, Rachel from The Rose Shed who supplied the flowers and lastly to the band, the Shuffles, who serenaded the guests with good music in the Oak room where the first dance also took place. These amazing vendors were very easy to work with and made my experience a smooth one.

Big congratulations to the amazing couple, Hollie & Jimmy, who liked my last wedding at Kings Weston House and got in touch with me to photograph theirs! I worked with them to create beautiful memories just to ensure their Kings Weston House wedding was as they have always imagined it would be.
