I love to work as The Roman Baths wedding photographer. On this occasion, it was a Sunrise wedding ceremony at The Roman Baths where Emma and Matt had recently tied the knot. With an intimate feel, this Sunrise Wedding which took place in the morning around the torch-lit and steaming waters of the Great Bath provided a truly romantic start for Emma & Matt who are a fun and lovely couple.

Dating back to roughly 2000 years, the Roman Baths remain one of the deluxe historic sites in Europe. The Roman Baths are strategically located at the heart of the World Heritage City. Aside from being one of the most stunning and romantic locations in the country for weddings, the Roman Baths are also licensed for civil ceremonies. Little wonder this amazing historic site created the most magical scenery for an amazing couple like Emma and Matt to exchange their vows with family and friends as witnesses. It was a unique and perfect spot to celebrate the magical bond between this amazing couple. The Roman Baths gave an intimate feel to the celebration as Emma and Matt took their vows.

Even though I never met the couple until their big day, they were so cool to work with. With unprecedented photo opportunities at this stunning Bath Historic Venue, I started with some pictures of the groom and guests while waiting for the bride to arrive with her two bridesmaids. We had only 20 minutes after the ceremony to photograph group shots and a couple of pictures before the venue was open to the visitors. I wish there would be more time as the venue is very picturesque. The couple decided to have confetti shot in front of Bath Abbey which is just around the corner from The Roman Baths. After that, the guests travelled to Ascot Racecourse for the reception.

Did we forget to say that this stunning location amazed all the guests present? It was quite enigmatic! The temperature was pretty cold (around 0 degrees Celsius) so the steam from the warm waters gave a more than lovely mysterious atmosphere.

At Emma and Matt’s wedding, Daisy Chain in Corsham delivered the beautiful flowers while Emma’s gorgeous bridal dress was by Inspired – Brides Wiltshire.  It was a short but perfect Roman Baths wedding. Below are a few pictures highlighting this memorable day.
