Wedding at SS Great Britain – Tina & Shaun
Tina and Shaun didn’t only have perfect weather for their wedding at SS Great Britain; they had an incredibly unique day all together. Married in July, the couple were wed during the annual Bristol Harbour Festival aboard the beautiful SS Great Britain. In order to get to the Great Britain, both the bride and groom took a smaller boat to it, waved on by the many people who were out enjoying the day of sun.
Dressed in a vintage dress that was over one hundred years old by very talented Cara from Cocoa Couture. Tina was played in by a bagpiper during her arrival to the ship where her groom and all of their guests were waiting for the ceremony to begin. The bridesmaids, wearing a beautiful shade of dark blue dresses and carrying bright orange flowers, led the bride to the altar to meet her groom. After their first kiss as husband and wife, the pair took to the deck to have their photos taken. Shaun’s son, who works on the SS Great Britain acting as the man who invented the ship, Mr. Brunel, provided everyone with Brunel hats and sideburns to take photos with, offering some great and hilarious opportunities with both the bridal party and the guests.
