It was my first time as Walton Castle wedding photographer. Sunglasses were a necessity for Rachel and Chris’s sunny Walton Castle wedding. The day was full of fun from the Muppets theme to a balloon tying competition. There was even a cheeky nod to all things chivalrous with a custom cloak worn by the bride as a surprise for the groom. We couldn’t resist adding the swords for an extra-pointy accessory. En Garde!

Against the stunning backdrop of the castle, beneath a canopy of fluttering bunting, the two exchanged their vows in front of family and friends. There was live music during the ceremony and drinks reception, courtesy of The Hot Hats and as the night closed in guests feasted on tacos from The Little Taquero and danced the night away to the sounds of the Zu Zu Men.

The bride’s ensemble was created with a timeless gown from The Bridal Room, hair and makeup by the Tour de Force that is Grace Kingsley, and finished off with accessories from Bridezillas. The day itself was made a reality thanks to the hard work and diligence of Gill from WishTree Weddings and the bright and airy marquee was provided by Marquee Master.
