Wedding at Coombe Lodge
Owing to the theme of a unique wedding at Coombe Lodge, I’ve decided to bring you the wedding of Carly and John.
Carly contacted me after finding me as a recommended supplier by Coombe Lodge, and I’m so thrilled she did. It’s always a privilege to be a part of something so special, and with the individuality that came with this wedding – including the wedding dress by Cocoa Couture in Cheltenham and pictures by Bristol’s Suspension Bridge – came a day full of treasured memories. They married in Clifton, before moving on to Coombe Lodge for the reception.
The cars came courtesy of De Gournay Wedding Cars, and the cake from Pretty Amazing Cakes. Both helped to create a one-of-a-kind feel for the day. To match Carly’s beautiful dress, her hair was done by Clair Swinscoe Hair. The wedding rings were designed by Dagons Workshop in Clifton Village, and the music came by way of The Wedding Players. The flowers were provided by Lucy Anna Flowers. All these things added to the day to make it memorable, but perhaps the most memorable part of all was this:
A vintage plane made a few circles in the air, much to the surprise and enjoyment of the guests! Carly organised it as a surprise for her new husband, who was overjoyed. Their first dance was something to be remembered too; perfectly choreographed and well prepared.
A beautiful sunset framed the final moments of the day, and what a day it was! I wish Carly and John all the best in their future together.

Wedding at Coombe Lodge
“Martin photographed our wedding at Coombe Lodge in May 2015 and was absolutely fantastic. He arrived early and stayed with us until really late, we have a fab album, all our photos, iPhone album and he even surprised us with film clips during Church and of our first dance. Martin captured every moment for us, everything we asked for and much more! We took the option to have a photo booth in the evening and I’d highly recommend that as well – our guests thought it was great fun!”
