I love my job as a Worcestershire wedding photographer, especially when I get to capture
Barns & Yard wedding photography. This luxury barn wedding venue sits in the Malvern
Hills and makes a fantastic location for a wedding.
Barns & Yard consists of a Tudor barn and farm cottages that have been artfully restored and
renovated to create a unique venue for weddings. The perfect blend of historic period
features and contemporary design.
When I capture Barns & Yard wedding photography, I love getting romantic portrait images
of my couple by the serene lake and the jetty. Barns & Yard is set on 100 acres of private land
for you and your guests to explore.
For wedding ceremonies, they offer four spaces, allowing you to choose the perfect space for
the style and size of your wedding. The first of these spaces is The Cartshed, a light-filled
room using solid oak, glass and flagstones. It has panoramic windows that look out over the
green fields towards the Malvern Hills. It can accommodate 60 guests for a
ceremony and 30 for a sit-down reception. If you open the doors to the central bay, you can
accommodate a further 40 guests for a larger celebration.

The Threshing Barn is their largest barn space and sits below the Gallery. Perfect for a
ceremony, dining and dancing, it has a capacity for 70 guests for a ceremony, and 80 for a sit-
down reception (if you include the Bay Area).
The Gallery overlooks the Threshing Barn. It has scrubbed oak beams and exposed
brickwork, giving it a rustic and warm feel with a touch of luxury. It has a capacity for 40
guests for a ceremony and a seated reception. So it is ideal for small and intimate weddings.
The last of the spaces licensed for ceremonies is The Stalls. The covered stalls offer a
sheltered outdoor ceremony option. You say your vows in the stalls whilst your guests are
seated in the courtyard. It has a capacity of 100 guests for a ceremony.
Drinks receptions usually take place in The Courtyard. Its striking flagstones bring gorgeous
contrast against the warm oak of the barns. It makes the perfect place for welcome drinks,
drinks reception and after-dark in the summer months. A lovely outdoor retreat where you
want to take a break from the dancing. It has a capacity of 100 guests.
Barns & Yard Wedding Photographer

One of the many things I love about capturing Barns & Yard wedding photography is the
way, the outdoor courtyard is lit up after dark, creating a magical setting ideal for summer
evenings.
When it comes to food, Barns & Yard allow you to choose from a small list of trusted caterers
who will work with you to create a bespoke wedding menu. All specialise in wedding
breakfasts and tasty evening food options. So, you can go as fancy or as informal as you
want.
When I capture Barns & Yard wedding photography, I love to see the little touches that my
couples add to their wedding décor. It tells me something about their personalities.
For drinks, Barns & Yard use The Watering Hole Events Bar, which offers a flexible flowing
in-house bar service.
Choose from a range of drink packages tailored to suit your
preferences. Everything from welcome drinks overlooking the lake to self-service troughs at
your drink’s reception to a formal table wine service at your wedding breakfast to taking a
visit to The Cider Barn at your evening reception. Just choose the options that suit your
vision of your day.

Natural Barns & Yard Wedding Photography
When it comes to guest accommodation, Barns & Yard have three gorgeous cottages that were
once the stables and byre, which explains their location beside the courtyard. They are called
The Stable, The Stoop and The Steading. Each has been lovingly restored and clad in
reclaimed oak and luxuriously appointed with all the modern conveniences you would
expect from a premier Worcestershire wedding venue. Each cottage can sleep up to 8 guests
, with the addition of two further folding single beds available on request.
The wedding team at Barns & Yard help you through every step of planning your perfect
wedding and are with you on the day to ensure everything runs perfectly.
