As a Bath wedding photographer, I am lucky enough to work at the finest wedding venues in the Cotswolds area and this is certainly the case when I provide Euridge Manor wedding photography.
Sitting on the borders of Wiltshire and Somerset just a few miles outside the historic city of Bath lies Euridge Manor. This country estate sits on 450 acres of private grounds in the rolling hills of the Cotswolds. At the heart of the estate is a monastery-inspired 17th-century Wiltshire farmhouse with a rich history and impressive architecture with stone walls, mullioned windows and ruins. Today, it has been reimagined as a simply stunning Cotswold wedding venue.
For weddings, they offer six (yes, count them six!) unique spaces for a wedding ceremony. Starting with the smallest, they offer their truly unique thatched Boathouse that is licensed for 20 people with space for more guests to watch from the wisteria-scented pergola and Italianate terrace. One of the many things I love about capturing Euridge Manor wedding photography is boathouse weddings in Spring as they have a real Italian lakes wedding vibe about them.
If that doesn’t sound pretty enough, how about a ceremony in the Castle Arch? This crumbling castle ruin has wildflowers poking through its crevices and its crystal chandelier giving it an edgy decadent vibe. A photo taken of the two of you under the chandelier is arguably one of the most Instagram-able images for weddings in the South West.
Or you can choose to say ‘I do’ at Euridge Manor’s stunning portico. Located next to a serene lake its grand pillars stand proudly like something out of Roman times. From here you can enjoy unspoilt views of the Cotswold countryside. When I capture Euridge Manor wedding photography, I love capturing early summer weddings at the portico, when the roses are in full bloom and line the grand stone pillars.
For those looking for an indoor ceremony (for autumn and winter weddings, or inclement weather) the atmospheric Cloister is ideal and has capacity for up to 40 guests. Or you can choose The Lost Orangery with its floor-to-ceiling windows that flood the space with natural light. Us Cotswold wedding photographers are always thrilled with additional light that we can play with to create even more beautiful images. It also has opulent crystal chandeliers and tall lush evergreen palms in every corner. Giving it an air of decadence and grandeur, it can accommodate up to 120 guests.
For larger celebrations, you should book Euridge Manor’s beautiful ballroom and ancient grotto which can hold up to 150 guests. Perfect for a sit-down wedding breakfast and for partying the night away.
The grotto is a truly unique addition to Euridge Manor, and its frieze made of New Zealand paua shells depicting dolphins and octopuses’ is just stunning and brings something distinct to your wedding day. The uniqueness of the grotto is one of the many reasons why I always love returning to be a Euridge Manor wedding photographer.
If you’re looking for a more traditional wedding ceremony, St John the Baptist church is based in the village of Colerne just a five-minute drive away. So, you can get married there and then return to Euridge Manor for your celebrations.
Natural Euridge Manor Wedding Photography

For guest accommodation, Euridge Manor has accommodation to sleep 32 guests. It is broken down into The Cloister’s 2-bedroom apartment, which doubles up as the perfect bridal preparation area as well. It has two bathrooms and a terrace offering delightful views of the Rose Garden and chessboard topiary. It sounds like something out of Alice in Wonderland, doesn’t it?
Euridge Manor only accepts a limited number of weddings each year and always offers exclusive use giving you and your guests the estate for the entire weekend.
