I love my job as a South Wales wedding photographer, especially when I get to capture
Gellifawr wedding photography. Award-winning Gellifawr Woodland Retreat is situated in
the Pembrokeshire National Park and consists of 12 idyllic acres of magical woodland, ponds
and landscaped gardens. Their wedding village is made up of beautiful outdoor spaces

When I capture Gellifawr wedding photography, my day often begins going between their
two salon spaces that they have created as the perfect place for the wedding parties to
convene and get ready.
For wedding ceremonies, they offer both indoor and outdoor spaces. Their luxury indoor
ceremony space is called Seren Yn Codi which roughly translates to English as elevated star.
Beautifully clean and modern with rustic vibes. It is lit beautifully with modern art deco-style
cylinder chandeliers.

This blank canvas can be decorated to your taste or left pared back for a natural Scandi look.
As its name suggests, it is cleverly elevated from the ground to ensure a magical view of the
valley beyond.
For outdoor ceremonies, Gellifawr offers an enchanting woodland ceremony where you get to
say ‘I do’ under towering trees which serve as the perfect al-fresco backdrop. There’s a
handcrafted wooden arch which lends itself perfectly to floral decoration for a perfect
outdoor ceremony.

Drinks receptions can take place indoors or in good weather outside on the terrace. If the
weather is really on your side, you can enjoy your wedding reception outside on a long
elegantly decorated trestle tables European style.
When I capture wedding photography at Gellifawr, I love whisking my couples away for a
mini photoshoot around the beautiful landscaped gardens and serene ponds of Gellifawrs
grounds. And the magnificent views of the mountains make an idyllic backdrop for amazing
wedding photos.

When it comes to food, Gellifawr has a state-of-the-art kitchen and a passionate chef with a
dedicated in-house team, who will work with you to create your perfect seasonal menu, all
locally sourced and guaranteed to keep your guests happy.
For evening celebrations throw open the doors to enjoy the best of indoors and outdoors. You
will have your dedicated bar, state-of-the-art sound and lighting and the dancefloor indoors.

Outside you have the terrace lit with fairy lights, a festoon-lit tipi and a fire pit to
keep you cosy as you party the night away under the stars.
For guest accommodation, the two of you can stay in Gellifawr’s newly decorated
honeymoon suite. There are also 7 en-suite rooms in the main house designed with style and
comfort in mind. Or your guests can stay in one of Gellifawr’s fifteen cottages and
experience the peacefulness of the Gwuan Valley. This totals guest accommodation for up
to 100 guests so for most weddings, you are in a position to offer onsite accommodation to
everybody who wants it.
