There are many reasons why I love being the Quantock Lakes wedding photographer. Firstly, Quantock Lakes is a family-owned and run wedding venue set in beautiful Somerset countryside. Nestled on 200 acres at Inwood Farm near Nether Stowey, this venue offers 3 unique barns and stunning views across the lakes and Quantock Hills. The Jeanes family have been farming this corner of Somerset for over a hundred years. In the last ten years have diversified the farm to create a bespoke barn wedding venue with luxurious accommodation.
Furthermore, Quantock Lakes perfectly blends old with new, featuring an original romantic stone barn and a large purpose-built barn with breathtaking oak beams.
This unique venue maintains its pontoon and jetty and the ancient oak tree with a rope swing. This is a perfect setting for any Quantock Lakes wedding photographer.
The award-winning venue offers three reception barns, each with its character, but sharing views across the lakes and Quantock Hills. Rustic Barn is a romantic stone barn with a ceremony license for up to 120 guests. With the original flooring and much of the original stone walls and oak beams, the barn is bursting with character and charm. If you are after something more modern and larger, then the purpose-built Quantock Barn would be a perfect choice. This barn can seat up to 250 for a ceremony and boasts stunning views across the lakes.
Also from here you can watch sunsets and light the fire pit to toast marshmallows in the evening. It is the perfect setting to provide creative Quantock Lakes wedding photography.
A third option is The Lake Pontoon, which is available for an outside ceremony during warmer months. Imagine exchanging the vows on the lake with the famous hills as your backdrop!
Yet another option is The Meadow Barn, with a 250 reception capacity for your wedding breakfast. This purpose-built barn features tall ceilings, twinkling chandeliers and large bifold doors boasting panoramic views across the lakes.

A short stroll from the venue, you will find accommodation set around a beautiful courtyard. “The Wedding Village” can sleep 65 loved ones in beautiful barn conversions, including The Posh Piggery bridal suite, The Wagon House bridal barn, The Granary and The Old Farmhouse.
What I like best about providing Quantock Lakes wedding photography…well firstly it is the stunning sunsets over the lakes, and secondly the spectacular views of the Quantock Hills. So if you are getting married in this picturesque Somerset venue, congratulations! Please get in touch if you need an experienced and natural Quantock Lakes wedding photographer.
