There are so many reasons why I love to be an Eastington Park wedding photographer. Eastington Park is a fascinating and historic country house located in the picturesque and quaint village of Eastington in Gloucestershire. Just a few miles from Stroud and 2 minutes from junction 13 on the M5 the venue is very conveniently situated with easy access to Bristol, Gloucester and Cotswold’s.
This stunning Grade II listed Georgian Manor is set within eight acres of magnificent gardens with spectacular views over the Gloucestershire countryside. Eastington Park was built with the famous Cotswolds’ golden ashlar limestone between 1806 and 1815 for a local mill owner, Henry Hicks.
The building retains much of its early 19th century charm, such as its gorgeous original curved cantilever staircase with beautiful wreathed handrail – perfect for wedding photography.
Having been restored fully in 2012, this Grade II-listed building is pristine and ready for your dream wedding day. The venue combines the modern with the traditional in idyllic harmony.
On top of that, the house possesses a Secret Garden and has its very own pergola on the grounds which is fully licensed to hold civil ceremonies of up to 150. The Pergola is a very popular choice for Summer weddings as it gives a perfect and romantic setting to say “I do”.
If you would like to have your ceremony inside the manor then there is The Morning Room; an airy room with a gorgeous fireplace and the fantastic décor.

Another choice is The Ballroom, which is also the venue’s premiere reception room. This light-filled space can seat up to 150 people for a ceremony or wedding breakfast, and up to 250 for a reception.
There are also other spaces that you can use during the wedding. The White room is a perfectly quiet and comfortable space to relax and The Garden room with a built-in multi-purpose worktop bar, is ideal for your tea and coffee area after the wedding breakfast.
Another advantage of Eastington Park is the proximity of the local church of St Michael and All Angels, which is just within walking distance from the venue via a picturesque footpath.
Besides, EP features 33 well-appointed bedrooms, able to accommodate up to 72 guests in total, allowing your wedding party to enjoy a longer stay with full use of our 24-hour licensed bar! Included within the 33 rooms is a luxurious and airy Honeymoon Suite which comes with a dressing room attached, which is perfect for getting ready with your wedding party in the morning.
One of the most rewarding aspects of photographing weddings at Eastington Park is capturing the moments of pure joy and emotion that unfold throughout the day. From the tender exchanges of vows to the heartfelt speeches and the joyous celebrations on the dance floor, each moment is a treasure to be cherished forever.
To sum up, if you are looking for a pristine venue that combines the modern with the traditional in idyllic harmony, then Eastington Park is a venue for you. EP award-winning team (The Wedding Industry Awards’ Best Countryside Venue in the South West in 2019) can’t do enough for you!
