When Beckie and Jamie a lovely couple from Wiltshire invited me to be their Villa Eliana wedding photographer I couldn’t say no. I was excited to be privileged to capture the beautiful memories at their destination wedding on the Amalfi Coast. I love photographing destination weddings, so I have been very much looking forward to this wedding since January when I photographed a wedding in Algarve.

Being my first time as a wedding photographer Sorrento, I arrived the day before the wedding to scout the location. Immediately fell in love with the gorgeous town in the south-west of Italy with a lovely view into Capri, Mount Vesuvius, and the Gulf of Naples. This scenery is the delight of every photographer including a destination wedding photographer like me. With gorgeous views from the cliffs, a pretty marina and a lively town centre, Sorrento have everything to offer.

Set atop the rolling hills of Sorrento, Villa Eliana is a dream wedding venue, boasting incredible views of Capri. It is one of the best spots around if you enjoy magnificent sunsets while sipping cocktails poolside, and let’s be honest, who doesn’t enjoy sunsets & cocktails!? Villa Eliana was the ideal location for Beckie and Jamie’s very relaxed wedding and with gorgeous weather, most of the reception took place outdoors.

The outdoor ceremony with only close friends and family present where they were treated to delicious food and a high standard of service – very Italian!
