Top 5 Cotswolds Wedding Venues

Here are the top 5 Cotswolds wedding venues that every couple should consider. The Cotswolds, with its rolling hills, charming villages, and timeless beauty, has long been a sought-after destination for couples looking for the perfect setting to say “I do.” As a Cotswolds wedding photographer, I’ve had the pleasure of capturing countless weddings in this stunning region, and I can tell you that the Cotswolds offers an array of breathtaking venues that are perfect for any couple. Whether you’re after a rustic barn, a historic manor, or a venue with panoramic countryside views, the Cotswolds is home to some of the most picturesque wedding locations in the UK.

The Cotswolds is one of the most beautiful areas in the UK to get married. The Cotswolds covers a huge area and runs through five counties (mainly Gloucestershire and Oxfordshire and parts of Wiltshire, Worcestershire and Warwickshire). It’s also the largest Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) in England, stretching south-west from just south of Stratford-upon-Avon to just south of Bath.

Cotswold wedding venues of all shapes and sizes can be found in this area of outstanding natural beauty, all easily accessible from London and Birmingham. Here, I would like to list five of my favourite Cotswold wedding venues.

Matara Center near Tetbury

I love shooting wedding photography at Matara. It is my favourite Cotswold wedding venue. Matara boasts itself as being traditionally unconventional. A Grade II Regency House, the hilarious building, cloisters, courtyards and all in the most magical and tranquil setting. Matara offers a truly unique and breathtaking wedding experience.

The Great Tythe Barn Tetbury

Wedding photography in the Cotswolds doesn’t get better than this. One of the many reasons I love shooting wedding photography at Great Tythe Barn is its location. A hidden gem nestled in rural Gloucestershire. A stunning Grade II listed 16th Century stone barn and a beautiful walled garden and courtyard give me so many opportunities to take great shots of my clients and their wedding guests.
