IF YOU LOVE CYCLING AND BICYCLES THEN YOU’LL ENJOY THIS CYCLING-THEMED WEDDING!
Natalie and James got married at the gorgeous Rockbeare Manor near Exeter in Devon. It was a wonderful wedding, with a well-executed cycled theme, which is the groom’s weak point.
I was looking forward to providing Rockbeare Manor wedding photography as it was my first wedding at this stunning venue. Rockbeare Manor is owned by the same company that runs Priston Mill and Coombe Lodge – two very successful and popular South West wedding venues where I photographed lots of fantastic weddings. After the wedding, I could honestly say that the same high values and professionalism were passed onto Rockbeare Manor, including the food!
Being a Rockbeare Manor wedding photographer couldn’t be easier. There are lots of great rooms: a spacious bridal suite (probably the biggest I have ever seen), the billiard room (lads chill out zone) and a ceremony room with an impressive chandelier. Rockbeare Manor is simply a stunning country house, and it’s got such a grand feel to it.

Back to the wedding. The ceremony was very emotional – full of laughter, tears and nervous giggles.
After the ceremony and confetti shot, I left the couple to mingle, which was the perfect time for me to get candid photos. Then we did some family photos, which I think are important. We also got some lovely evening portrait photos in front of the venue and by the fountain just after the sunset. The first dance was also a talking point of the wedding. The couple picked “One Love” by Bob Marley, which in my opinion it’s a brilliant choice for the first dance.
A wedding tip from the bride
The couple says that if you’re planning your wedding, the biggest piece of advice they could give you is:
“Enjoy the build-up to your wedding as much a possible, when the day finishes, it’s all over!”
“Martin photographed our wedding at Rockbeare Manor Aug 2018, we are so impressed with his photos and the album he has created for us, I would highly highly recommend him.
Not only is Martin‘s work stunning but he is the most friendly and professional person to work with. Even our guests commented on how lovely he was.
We have amazing photos to remember our special day, including one that went on to win an award. What else can I say? Excellent, 5 stars” – Natalie & James
I loved this Rockbeare Manor wedding so much and can’t wait to go back there. If you’re getting married and looking for a Rockbeare Manor wedding photographer, get in touch.
